Hi, I'm Rene! I'm the owner and licensed esthetician behind Glamour on the Run.

I've always loved pretty things. Beautiful skincare, a little sparkle, fabulous lipstick — all of it!

But I've never believed that enjoying those things should mean being stuffy, pretentious or uncomfortable.

If you're looking for a spa where you can kick off your shoes, get comfortable, laugh a little and just be yourself, you've found your place.

I love helping people feel good in their own skin, and I believe taking care of yourself should be something you look forward to, not something you feel intimidated by.
WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
Earliest Memories
My love of beauty started long before I became an esthetician.

Some of my earliest memories are of my Grandma Gomez's Avon parties and watching my mom get ready for a night of dancing with my dad. I loved the makeup, the excitement, the beautiful little details and the way something as simple as getting ready could make an ordinary evening feel special.

Looking back, I think that's where my appreciation for beauty began. Not because everything had to be perfect, but because of how those moments made people feel.

That little girl who loved all things pretty eventually grew up and created a place where she could share that feeling with others.
MORE THAN SKIN DEEP
While I love the beauty side of this industry, I've also developed a deep appreciation for the science behind healthy skin.

One of the most influential people in my professional journey has been Benjamin Knight Fuchs, R.Ph., a pharmacist and skin-health educator who has helped shape the way I understand skincare. His mentorship has encouraged me to look beyond the surface, ask questions, understand ingredients and appreciate the relationship between skin health and overall wellness.

It's an approach I bring into my treatment room every day. I don't believe in pushing products or recommending treatments just because they're popular. I want my clients to understand their options and feel confident about the choices they make.

MORE THAN A BUSINESS
My Why
Glamour on the Run has always been about more than skincare for me. Building my own business has given me the opportunity to do work I love while still being present for the people who matter most.
Since my dad's stroke in 2020, I've been his primary caregiver. He's a U.S. Air Force veteran, and caring for him while running my business has shaped the way I think about time, flexibility and what it really means to take care of people.
And then there's my mom — my biggest cheerleader, sounding board and constant source of encouragement. She's been there through the exciting milestones, the challenging days, the crazy ideas and everything in between. She's the person I can share my little victories with, and her belief in me has meant more than she'll ever know.
Owning Glamour on the Run allows me to be both an esthetician and a daughter without having to choose between the two.
It's also why I want my studio to feel personal. People walk through my door carrying real lives, real responsibilities and real stories of their own.
Sometimes taking an hour for yourself isn't frivolous. Sometimes it's exactly what you need.
