BEHIND THE TREATMENT TABLE

Hi!  I'm Rene, owner and Esthetician at Glamour on the Run!  I'm very enthusiastically looking forward to working on your skin to meet and exceed your skin goals and concerns.

I would say that my journey started when I was maybe 3-4 years old.  My Grandma Gomez employed me as her assistant for her Avon parties and I was handsomely paid in mini lipstick samples.  When visiting my Grandma Lucero I would stand on my tippy toes and look with awe at my grandmother's beautiful perfume bottles and if I was lucky get a little dab on my wrist. I remember sitting on the floor in the doorway watching my mom putting on her makeup and perfume before going dancing with my dad all those years ago.  I've always loved the world of beauty and skin. ​

I guess it was no real surprise when I decided to work behind a makeup counter but it was then that I noticed that I always gravitated towards skincare and knew there was so much more to great skin.  I decided to pursue my professional licensing and met my mentor, Benjamin Knight Fuchs, R, Ph. Working with Ben, I learned about the transformative power of ingredients on a cellular level and the important connection between skin and gut health. Glamour on the Run functions more as a "Health Spa" than a place for gimmicky facials, focusing on real changes in the skin with an emphasis on heath.  Definitely don't be surprised to see minerals and vitamins on the shelf's and modalities that target the cells.

 

My mission is to create a calm and serene environment where you can enjoy facial and body services that actively improve your skin, leaving you feeling refreshed and renewed after your treatment.
